What to do in an emergency, how Missing Mode works, and how to avoid scams when you book, pay or host.
If someone is in immediate danger
Call your local emergency number (112 in the EU/EEA, 911 in the US, 999 in the UK). Habsii cannot dispatch help and does not monitor reports in real time.
Four calm levels instead of one panic button: I'm OK, I feel uncomfortable, I need someone, Emergency. You choose who is told, whether live location travels with it, and a check-in timer that alerts your circle if you don't confirm you're safe.
Open Safety StatusIn immediate danger, always call local emergency services first — Habsii is not an emergency service. Then open Emergency Mode in Passport to show your documents, insurance and emergency contacts offline.
Open Emergency ModeMissing Mode shares only the last known location trail of people who already trust you, and lets you export that trail as a CSV to hand to police. Nothing is shared with anyone outside the circle.
Open Missing ModeNever pay outside Habsii, never share passwords or one-time codes, and treat off-platform payment requests as fraud. Verified businesses show a badge — an unverified seller asking for a bank transfer is the classic scam.
What to do if something goes wrongStore your documents in Passport with offline access, share your journey with a family circle, keep a travel checklist, and check official government sources for visa and entry rules.
Travel checklistPay only through Habsii checkout so you keep refund and dispute protection. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored by Habsii.
Payment PolicyVerification means a business submitted legal, identity and payout details that we reviewed. It is a trust signal, not a guarantee — read reviews and keep conversations inside Habsii.
How verification worksReport a dangerous listing or user
Use the report action on the listing or profile, or open a ticket with the “Report abuse” category. Include links and screenshots so the review team can act quickly.
